This place is great. I have been to a lot of really great sushi places on the west coast. Moved back to Boston and was missing my old standbys…we tried Yoki and go there probably once a week now. It is the best sushi that I have had in Boston and certainly matches up to my favorites back west. Great food, great service and some divine special rolls. PS - the red sox roll is great!

It really is everything you could want in a sushi restaurant, including alternatives. Their menu also includes Hibachi and other non-raw specialties. It is absoultely beautiful inside with 3 huge wide screens that are loyal to Patriots and Sox. It is extremely clean and the staff is very quick and friendly. Food quality as well has always been stellar. I would definitely recommend fighting the wellington circle traffic for this new restaurant.

Yoki is consistently fresh and delicious, and is a great alternative to battling traffic in Boston for sushi! With a friendly & good-looking staff, it’s always a pleasure to visit!

Having recently moved from downtown Boston, I was skeptical about trying Sushi in Medford, especially since I have been disappointed with many Chinese restaurants. However, Yoki is a hidden gem and I think one of the better sushi restaurants I’ve been to. The staff are extremely friendly, the ambience is that of a very upscale restaurant. Most importantly though, the sushi is very high quality.

I came here last week and must say I was extremely impressed with Yoki. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff are extremely nice, and the Sushi is by far the freshest I’ve had in a while. Not even upscale sushi restaurants have impressed me as yoki has. Another plus is that the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you are getting…. I highly recommend it!

I was really saddened to hear of Tom’s death, and deaply appreciate everything he had done for us. My sister and I frequent Yoki usually once or twice a week and we really love it there. The food is amazing, but more importantly, the service and the feeling of family is what kept us going back. The staff at Yoki are very nice and attentive. Tom was always there when we went and quickly became a good friend. We will miss him very much and hope that everyone heals from his passing and continues to celebrate his life at Yoki. I know we will.

I noticed the Red Sox Maki that everyone seems to be raving about is offered only as a lunch special…does that mean you cannot get this as a dinner item even if you asked?

**Nevertheless, I’m still going there tonight with my Groupon woohoo. such a good deal!

Had an excellent lunch there today using my Groupon! Definitely order the Red Sox Maki; it’s as good as everyone says. Also, leave room for dessert and have the Tempura Ice Cream.

Tim & I have followed Tom to Medford from NH..Yoki’s is the BEST sushi hands down. Everyone there makes you feel like an old friend! We miss Tom so much and it was a shock to hear of his passing. Yoki’s means even more to us now and we will continue to visit our friends there and honor Tom. He was an incredible person.

Had dinner at Yoki last night with my Groupon…wow! That was by far the best Sushi experience I have had. The waitress was so nice, the atmosphere was great, and the food was fabulous. Your Groupon offer absolutely earned you at least 2 more customers. Thanks again.

Great Sushi place, not too many around the Medford area. I do have to say though, everyone once in a while I will get border line avocado in the california rolls. But I still go back.

Awesome place! :] Sushi is AMAZING, as are the other dishes on the menu, like the hibachi stake and teryaki chicken. We get takeout a lot from this restaurant. When we actually go to dine there, the service is very good- quick, friendly. the atmosphere is pretty neat to, very nice interior design. All in all, highly recommended for any one who likes to have a yummy dinner in a relaxed and calm setting. Ur awesome, tom :]

It is a terrible tragedy that Tom has passed away :( he was a really great guy who welcomed us everytime we came to yoki’s. I remember he would sit next to us sometimes and just talk to us while we waited for our food, about nothing really. He quickly became a friend. It’s a damn shame and just shows how unfair life can be…sometimes the worst happens to the best of us. We will miss you terrible, Tom. May you rest in peace.

I have to say that this place is incredible. I’ve been coming here as a regular. Always being greeted right when i walk in. Two weeks ago on a friday, I walked in with my bf. We were never greeted and didnt even ask how many people. I know it was busy. I think she was new. She was’nt paying much attention. Another host sat us down. Over all, our dinner was great as always. Our waitress was awsome! We will be back.
